Yeah. The stats tell what nobody wants to admit. Even declaring “cutting by half” implies that there’s a healthy number of sexual encounters in the first place. I saw a study from San Francisco where “married gay men” still had partners outside their marriage, at a rate of 100% of the “marriages”.
I just learned that an old friend, whom was gay and I hadn’t seen in a number of years, had died - he’d had kidney failure, then transplants, but his body just gave up. Was it directly due to his lifestyle? Maybe or maybe not...but the fact is that the mechanics of gay sex results in any infection being highly transmissible. Those in this lifestyle are often using drugs too. It isn’t healthy, we aren’t made to do this.
When kids are encouraged to embrace being gay, nobody tells them any of this. It’s not about hate, it’s about the reality of it all.
