I agree, ant the Republicrats should Publish a List of all recipients of this bail out, so we the people can NEVER hire them or let them work for us.

Nobody in my family has ever taken welfare or a bailout ever, and if they did they would be shunned by the entire family immediately

It might sound silly, but I save the slivers of bars of soap from the shower. I probably have at least 20 bars of soaps-worth stashed way.

Except those who were responsible and paid off their loans.

Tip: Ask for your payoff money back.

Anyone else here old enough to remember when we saved string? Buttons?

I save buttons, and ribbons (not string, unless it is a really long piece).

“ Anyone else here old enough to remember when we saved string?”

I remember when USPS packages were wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. This was before there was decent packing tape. Thus the preponderance of pieces of string.

“Thus the preponderance of pieces of string.”

We wound the pieces of string into a big ball where it was always handy when we needed it for something.

You do know that you can take the sliver of soap and join it to the next fresh soap bar taking its place, right?

Why save it when you can use the bar completely?

Good point. Just got my annual United Way Pledge Form here at work. Threw it in the trash.

My taxes are being given away like candy. Screw em.

Another way is to take a washcloth, fold it in half, and sew 2 edges together to make a pouch. I would recommend adding a ribbon or something so you can hang the pouch between uses.

Slivers and remnants of soap go inside the pouch, so you can use them without them getting dislodged.
