We are all time travelers, traveling through time our entire lives at a very specific and fixed speed. All other ideas of time travel, including Einstein's, are fantasy. Or to use a more scientific word for fantasy, "theory".

That was Isaac Newton’s point of view. He said that time was like a river, flowing at a fixed speed without regard to any events. That makes sense. But Newton was wrong!
Einstein said that time could be warped by relative speeds. That sounds crazy. Einstein had the math show it. But math means little without experimental evidence. Careful experiments have shown that Einstein was right, and Newton was wrong.
It’s no big deal at low speeds, less than maybe 75% the speed of light. Even NASA uses Newton’s equations. They are close enough. But when you get close to the speed of light, Newton’s equations fail miserably. Einstein’s equations are spot on. Time really does warp.
