She was part of the huddled masses yearning to be free. Or to get things free from the taxpayers.

I pine for the olden days when people were sponsored to come to America and were expected to work when they got here.
And there were no food stamps, EBT cards, Section 8 housing, welfare checks, etc.
The good ‘ole days.
