New billboards have sprouted in San Francisco and Los Angeles, according to several online sources, including Twitter, Reddit, and the New York Post.
Mysterious new billboards are warning California residents not to move to Texas, as record numbers of residents flee the soft-on-crime Golden State for better quality of life in red states.
“The Texas Miracle died in Uvalde. Don’t move to Texas,” the billboards read, alongside a hooded figure and a crossed-out “Don’t mess with Texas” slogan.
The billboard seems to follow the trend of the anti-gun media and those who wish the population disarmed, of using mass murder to scare people into doing what the politicians want.
While mass school murders, such as those in Uvalde, Texas, are exceedingly rare, the media attempt to make them appear to be everyday occurrences.
Those who wish the population disarmed then try to tie the unpopular policy of disarming the public to safety, as if such a policy would stop mass murder incentivized by the Media.
According to SFGate, one billboard is on the corner of Folsom and 7th in San Francisco.
Some claim the purpose is to demonize Texas and stop the rampant flow of productive people and assets from California to Texas. Tesla and Oracle are two recent examples. People who find freedom attractive might decide the billboard sends them a message of freedom. Others claim the purpose is to keep people who favor gun control from moving to Texas. People who had guns might be deterred from moving to Texas.

“Whatever you do, doan throw me into dat Briar Patch!”
Marxists always build fences...
To keep people IN
Lol.. may have been sponsored by Texans ;)
Plus, if you’re a pregnant man, you may be unable to terminate your pregnancy in Texas!!!
“stop the rampant flow of productive people and assets from California to Texas”
They’re at least about 200,000 people too late
Welcome to Texas.
NOW GO HOME!
If the purpose of the billboards is to keep Californians from moving to Texas, then I’m sure Texas is okay with this. As a friend of mine who was born and raised in Carrollton Texas told me recently, “Dude, don’t California my Texas!”
I agree, don’t move to Texas.
i have to agree
dont move to TX
stay in CA and either fix it or embrace the suck
Sounds like some Californians are emulating “Mars Attacks” with their own version of “Don’t Run! We are your friends!”
It’s so inconvenient when victims flee.
They we're invading Idaho in the early 90s. Saw many a bumper-sticker reading "Don't Californicate Idaho" at the time.
We don’t want them
California doesn’t want taxpayers moving out.
Yep.
So “us” Californians should stay put and pay the highest state, sales and local taxes, highest gas taxes - see our neighborhoods overrun with illegals and homeless who camp out on our lawns and public spaces and there is not a thing we can do about it.
We should stay and enjoy rolling blackouts almost every day during 110 degree heat and “respect” water restrictions - while massive apartment complexes continue to be built.
We should stay and enjoy DAs like George Gascon who happily put violent criminals back onto the streets to prey on people - or doesn’t lock them up, “no cash bail,” b/c “too many blacks and browns are in jail.”
We should accept and tolerate addicts and mentally ill who have taken over our parks and streets, tossing their needles everywhere, screaming obscenities at us and our children and freely defecating wherever they want. And no one is able to do a thing about it.
Yeah, some “Golden State.” In 50 years, the politicians here have run the state into the ground. Then they wonder why productive, taxpaying citizens flee the state.
I have no problem with this billboard. Locusts need to stay put.
Yes, please do stay.
It started in Oregon in the 70’s - bumper stickers and signs saying “Don’t Californicate Oregon!”
Now Oregon is just as bad as California - people in wealthy areas of Portland can’t sell their homes because homeless have camped out on the street - or on their lawns. As in California, homeless have more rights than homeowners or average citizens trying to go about their business.
Yes, could be from lefties moving there and then voting as they did in the Golden State.
As long as the Texas - California spat simmers, people forget about that backwater Idaho. Which is fine with me.
