Bonanza, Mission impossible, Hawaii-50. Those were good shows.

6m man was always a bit too corny and predictable for me.

I liked Bonanza. Although in retrospect, there was a lot of liberal messaging. Like when Hoss befriended a retarded man whom everyone feared. Or when Hop Sing wanted to marry a white woman, and learned that he couldn't. Or when the Cartright boys thought their father had been murdered, and went seeking vengence, but realize vigilante justice was wrong, so they settled on bring the man in peacefully and letting a jury decide.

Same here. Loved the tape recorder self destructing on MI as a kid. Watched Hawaii Fünf-Null reruns as a young schoolgirl, when we lived in Switzerland for awhile. It was hilarious in German for some reason. But not as funny as Flipper (”Fleepah! Fleepah!”), Dragnet aka Polizeibericht, Gunsmoke aka Rauchende Colts or Mod Squad aka Twen-Police.
