You have a point. That could be expanded, why play anywhere except the SEC. Warm weather, beautiful co-eds, tons of tradition. But being old, I’m not changing my ways. I’ll be a Penn State fan the rest of my life even though I have a hard time watching them. I don’t like Franklin. Something is missing there.

What’s funny is that had Nebraska stayed in the Big 12, they might have joined OU and Texas in the SEC.
Now they’re stuck with Iowa as their big rival.

A long time ago, I thought it would be a good move for the BigTen to incorporate Texas and OU. That leaves out traditional rivals TAMU and OkSt, but makes more sense than USC and UCLA.

Yeah, I’ve been flipping back and forth to that. Interesting fact: Syracuse plays in the Carrier Dome, which isn’t fully air conditioned. They got air conditioning in “select spaces” last year. Fortunately it was cold last night. That place is a dump. Really iffy playing football there in September.

The one at the end of the first quarter should have been nullified. But Auburn defense not being able to stop Penn State has killed Auburn. The Auburn defense is too porous.
