Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said he was not planning a mobilisation after his close ally Russia announced it was calling up hundreds of thousands of reservists for the war in Ukraine.
"The mobilisation is in Russia. ... There will be no mobilisation (here)," state media quoted Lukashenko as saying.

Yep. He’s got no choice. Russia’s occupying Potemkin army is crumbling. Smashed to pieces by Ukrainian farmers and miners. They don’t have the units to cover both the south and Donbas fronts. So he rushed the Stalinist referendums and will now threaten to nuke Ukraine.
Lukashenko needs his troops in Belarus. If they enter the war in Ukraine, his regime gets overthrown.
Putinistas love their Lukashenko. He is a hero to them, too.
Lukashenko is too sly for that.
The Budapest Memorandum and charters for the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States cancel out whatever agreement Belarus may have entered into with Putin.

Lukashenko has no choice. The question is whether Lukashenko will be forced to try to send troops into Poland to try to stop the NATO weapons transfer. Someone should ask Polish “patriot” Jack Posobiec about that inconvenient possibility.

The smartest military move Putin could make would be to direct forces in Belarus to attack Kiev again to relieve pressure in the East. Not certain Lukashenko will let him do that again, as that already triggered some sabotage actions and grumbling in the Belarussian armed forces.
Given his persecution of the Polish minority, the Poles would relish the opportunity to kick Lukashenko's ass.
It makes ya wonder what is it about Putin the FR mental ward finds so attractive about him. Is it the shirtless pics? The pics of him on horseback? The video of him kissing the little boy’s stomach? Something about Putin has these people enthralled.
