Election emergencies can develop from public health crises, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, power outages, active shooter situations, cyberattacks and any number of other events. They can affect one jurisdiction, or a whole state. States cannot prepare for absolutely all circumstances, but they can, and have, taken steps to be prepared.

Yep, “too close to call will soon take on new meaning, the Feds will use Ian a a way to make up the 200K plus votes needed to send Crist to Tallahassee, ever since the “voting rights act” all elections are subject to Federal “oversight” ...

wonder why Australian media found space in their hourly news bulletins for the last 12 hours or so to tell us some Floridians criticised DeSantis for not calling on them to evacuate soon enough blah blah?

when you only have about six news items in the bulletins, it’s amazing that would be chosen, unless it was political.
