INDIANAPOLIS (LifeSiteNews) – The Archdiocese of Indianapolis bowed to LGBT activists and postponed an event with a speaker who renounced her homosexuality and returned to the Church.
St. Luke Catholic Church in Indianapolis initially scheduled an event with Kim Zember on October 13. A former lesbian turned Catholic speaker and author, Zember left the homosexual lifestyle and founded an apostolate, Overcome Ministries, for same-sex attracted individuals that upholds Church teaching and seeks to “point people to Jesus.”
A since-deleted post about the event on St. Luke’s website read, “Kim began experiencing same-sex attraction as a teenager. She shares her experience of finding true joy in sharing the love, freedom and restoration found through her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.”
But after blistering attacks from LGBT pressure groups, St. Luke and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis announced earlier this month that Zember’s talk would be postponed to allow for “discernment” about whether to proceed with it.

I thought...once a lesbian, always a lesbian...that an individual had no choice over their sexual orientation.

It’s both amazing and sad how quickly our side folds in the face of even the slightest criticism. A proper response to these LGBT activists would be two simple words: free speech.
Or maybe even one simple word: no.
That may be true. What she says is she no longer engages in those sexual practices

If you get married you shouldn’t be allowing yourself to be attracted to anyone other than your spouse

So... can’t have the truth told that they weren’t “born that way”, just like former New York City mayor Bill Kaiser Wilhelm Deblasio’s wife.
In America, you can change anything you want - if you’re fat, there’s 1000 programs to become thin. If you’re shy, there’s 1000 programs to help you meet people. If you’re white, you can be black. If you are an 8 year-old boy who thinks he’s a girl, the State of California will help you chop your d*** off.
But DON’T EVER think of stopping being a homosexual!

After a few seconds of discernment, I discern that the proper response to the filthy disease-ridden queers is "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!"
The Indy Red Star paper ran a full on attack campaign against the diocese about this.
Or even a few more words: “Y’all need Jesus!”
What are people so afraid of?
Not hard to see who’s wearing the pants in that church.
Shameful.
Again, how do you separate “the Church” from the leaders of a diocese?
