Interesting.
I would normally comment that Macron is saving his Nukes for use on the Yellow Vests, however I instead say:
Macron has decided that he won't bother to poke the bear as Jao Buyden has demanded he do.
NATO is shattering, and it’s lovely.
“I wouldn’t nuke Russia if they nuked France.”
Neither would I. Hell, I wouldn’t nuke Iran if it nuked France.

And thank God for that.

Macron: France Won’t Nuke Russia If Putin Nukes Ukraine
(Newsmax)
By By John Irish and Michel Rose | Wednesday, 12 October 2022 10:19 PM EDT
While French President Emmanuel Macron has promised France will soon deliver more cannons, radars, and anti-aircraft missiles to support Ukraine, he said France is not going to launch a nuclear strike if Vladimir Putin uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
“Our doctrine rests on the fundamental interests of the nation,” Macron told France 2 on Wednesday. “They are defined clearly and wouldn’t be directly affected at all if, for example, there was a ballistic nuclear attack in Ukraine, in the region.”
Makes me wonder what America’s fundamental interests are in Ukraine. (Actually, it doesn’t. I know we have none.)

Hey now. That money doesn’t launder itself.

Putin is not going to “ nuke” Ukraine.
As much as Deep State keeps trying to make the public swallow this BS.
“Cheese eating surrender monkeys.”
Never understood that French coward thing. Any military man with even a passing knowledge of French soldiers won’t be saying that.
The Brits surrendered Singapore to a Jap force they outnumbered three to one. The Brits fled France in WWII at Dunkirk and called it a victory. In WWII the British channel islands surrendered without firing a shot and maintained cordial relations with the Germans. recently the Brits Navy surrendered to Iranians within VIEW of their destroyer that did nothing.
In WWI French soldiers fought to the absolute limit and suffered far more dead than the Brits, yet we never hear the end of Flanders fields, poppies, etc etc.
In WWII the French Army lost roughly what we did in Vietnam in 6 weeks, 60,000 dead, 200,000 wounded, and they inflicted 49,000 German dead.
They were outclassed by modern German tactics, but they fought damned hard.
I’m trying hard to find an example of French military cowardice, but am finding none.
France died in WWI.
The interwar period, France was a hot mess, it was ripe for the pickings. Generals were still stuck in WWI, when the Nazis attacked.
So true. And in the 6 weeks they were outclassed and out generaled, the French soldier fought long and hard, 60,000 to the death.
And I wasn’t picking on Brits either (except those Royal Navy clowns who were captured in SIGHT of their warship)
But the fact is, every unit could get that surrender monkey label. The western US states were FILLED tens of thousands of Africa Corps Germans. Something like 90,000 Germans surrendered at Stalingrad.
But for some reason people love to pretend the French are surrender prone. I suspect it is a Brit slander against their forever rival. It simply has no basis in fact, not even close. The Japanese pretty much are the only ones that get the gold medal for “no surrender”.
