I know a guy who puts turmeric in practically everything he eats/drinks — including coffee — because he swears that it not only provides many other health benefits but also keeps mosquitoes away.

I don’t know about that, but having tasted his turmeric coffee ONE time, I can’t rule it out.

Turmeric has Curcumin which is excellent for health.

I actually take concentrated Curcumin in supplement form.

I, sometimes, put coconut oil in my coffee.

One of the B vitamins is a natural skeeter repellant. On a trip to Dominican Republic I increased my B-Complex intake as a health safeguard. My wife took little or no B-Complex and the skeeters chewed her to pieces, while they avoided me like anti-magnetism. Dining on the beach one evening they practically ate her up. I could feel them bouncing off my bare legs and flying away. Not one bite did I receive! Good ol’ B-Complex!

Tumeric in Chicken Masala. Good. Tumeric in a latte? Bad
