I have several of his albums and still listen to them. In later years he packed on the pounds but even in his 60’s he still had the voice.

I saw him in concert in Toronto in the mid 80s. Small intimate venue, standing crowd, no seats. And Awesome performance, including the best covers of ‘Only Make Believe’ and ‘Fire’ ever.
I love Rockabilly. A niche genre that the world needs more of.
