“Ukraine has set up a website and telegram channel called 200rf.com - in reference to Cargo 200 - so Russian families can track down and identify their sons.”

All PR cause Ukraine won’t do it for its own people, just ask the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Ukraine who have been shutdown and blocked by the Ukrainian SBU, you know, for ‘security purposes’ cause we certainly don’t want the real Ukrainian numbers getting out, do we?

RE #8. Note how Cranked won't explain why the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Ukraine (CoSMU) was shut down (its was not, its online here: http://familyato.org/ua/) or link to anyone making that claim. Because he is not representing the propaganda accurately, which are these Russian invasion supporting telegram posts:https://t.me/vicktop55/7814 and https://t.me/obrazbuduschego2/11686

"The irretrievable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 10:00 on October 20, 2022 amounted to 402,000 people, of which 387,000 were killed...."

"...The Committee of Soldiers' Mothers of Ukraine prepared more than 320,000 appeals about the fate of the missing fighters from among the mobilized, but the SBU forbade them to be transferred to the military prosecutor's office."

It should be obvious that since that is more than the total Armed Forces of Ukraine, either the telegram channel is lying or Russia is fighting Undead Zombies. Russia tends to put out inflated losses and hopeless outlooks for Ukraine, right when Ukraine is attacking - and winning. Not including links to the sources was probably a good idea. </sarc>

The only sources saying this are pro-Russian channels. The CoSMU is not saying this for themselves. Going a little further, In 2015, "...Security Service of Ukraine investigated the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers for publishing documents of ATO fighters who died, violating laws of the protection of personal data." (1) So they were investigated for releasing personal data seven years ago, not for putting out 320,000 requests about soldiers whereabouts currently. This kind of disinformation is getting a little more sophisticated, mixing and matching different events and times to create false narratives.

The Putin fan Z-teams have some new scripts to use. New is interesting, even if what is new is still pretty bad.

Russia through the CoSMU was enough of a threat to have the GRU try to discredit it. A Stanford Internet Observatory (that's Stanford University) white paper "Potemkin Pages & Personas: Assessing GRU Online Operations, 2014-2019" (2), found:

"CyberBerkut, Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Ukraine, and “For an Exit from Ukraine,” a network of Pages targeting Ukraine, which has been subject to an aggressive disinformation campaign by the Russian government since the Euromaidan revolution in 2014."

Creating such narratives reflect on the character of those who created or spread them. It is really disappointing seeing Freepers wholeheartedly embrace using Communist disinformation methods and left wing demonization tactics on each other like this.
