Auburn fired coach Bryan Harsin on Monday following a 41-27 loss to Arkansas, putting an end to an awkward and unsuccessful tenure on The Plains. Harsin was relieved of his duties as the Tigers fell two games below .500 to 3-5 on the season with the program dropping 10 of its last 13 games and nine of its last 10 against Power Five opponents dating back to last season.

See ya!!!
Harsin has a $15 MM oqed to him with $7.5 MM due before end of November. There was no real competition for Harsin, so this type of buyout should have never been in the contract in the first place.
The way Auburn had been handing out buyouts, one would think The Plains were were filled with money trees.
How far does Primetime need to drive from Jackson, MS to Auburn?
I wonder what their cumulative buyout total is over the last 12 years?
Yay Aubrun!!!
Yeah we beat them pretty good Saturday..
According to some CFB writers, the buyouts since 2020 have totalled over $41 MM: Gus Bus, his DC Kevin Steele, and now Harsin.
He does have a very pretty wife, but he was out of his league at Auburn. The SEC is dog-eat-dog and some very dangerous dogs hang out in Bama, Georgia and now Tennessee is making noise.
How much are they going to offer Hugh Freeze?
A&M fans are like, “Wish we could do that.”
Well we know who Bama’s OC is going to be next season.
Deep pockets aside, You can bet A&M is looking for ANY leverage they can use against Jimbo
Damn. Less than 2 seasons. That’s a fast hook.
The NFL must have added a penalty for biting kneecaps.
lol .... good prose. Though I am unaware of this college football coach-jamoke. Can he come here and coach the girl’s soccer leagues? Aka communist kickball/
I’m not sure Deion wants to coach at Auburn.
Remember, Deion already has more money than he can ever spend. He’s 55. He might think coaching at a historically black college is where he wants to be.
I’m sure he’ll get plenty of offers. Auburn is an elite coaching job (I can only think of a handful that would be considered a step-up from Auburn).
The only out I see for A&M is if their coach breaks some values clause in his contract (say is convicted of drug possession).
I believe that’s what cost Bobby Petrino his Arkansas job.
LOL !
That guy was and probably still is a grade a douch bag.
