If Paul answered the door the the police knocked, why wouldn’t he immediately ask them to protect him from the intruder?
That scenario, minus the underwear and hammers, happened to me. I was able to call the police after I had calmed an intruder who had broken into my house. I convinced the man I was going to tell the police the 911 call was an error and as soon as I opened the door for the police I ran like the freaking wind.
The police already said that a 3rd unidentified person opened the door. They never said it was Paul.
If he broke into the house, why wasn’t he charged with breaking & entering?
How was he allowed to get near the house when neighbors say there’s security 24/7?
What did he need to ask Nancy so desperately that he was willing to commit a crime to get an answer?
