Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m thinking these GOP senators are full of crap. They’re claiming they want to delay the Senate leadership vote because of their dissatisfaction with the current leaders, but what they’re really doing is just postponing the vote until after the December 6th runoff in Georgia. Before they hold a leadership vote, they need to figure out if they’re going to have 49 senators or 50.
So what if the republicans have 50? I guess there is a chance a democratic senator from a purple or red state could kick the bucket.
