Chaos broke out at a Tesco supermarket as desperate shoppers fought for discounted food.
Customers grabbed and pushed each other in front of children as they scrambled for cheap yellow sticker items.
A Tesco staff member had to move out of the way quickly as the aisle descended into chaos.

I have never seen fighting over clearance items in a grocery store
Apparently this is common at Tesco for years. One commentor said they put up yellow tape at one store when a worker is putting out goods.
Dont expect a knock down drag out fight like at Thanksgiving in the video. Its just chicks jostling for baked goods
Turd world scum fighting over everything is nothing new.
This is more a commentary on immigration policy in the UK than it is about food prices.
Given Biden’s inflation, I’m actually surprised we haven’t seen widespread shoplifting at grocery stores.
I’m sure it happens with smaller items (same as it ever was). But I’m talking about loading up your cart, and just heading for the front door.
Looked more staged than actual.
Where have you been?
> Where have you been? <
Oh, sorry. I should have been more specific in my last post. I wasn’t referring to grocery stores in the in the inner cities. I was referring to places that are further out, places where normally law-abiding folks are getting pushed to the edge.
My brother said they put up security type things at Kroger so you cant exit by the doors with a cart. you have to go through checkout. He doesnt live in a bad neighborhood so I dont know if all krogers are doing it
There are three Krogers I have been at in the last month. Two in good neighborhoods and one in a not so good one.
None of those had anything like that, although good luck finding a cart in the first place at the not so good Kroger...
Fred Meyer also does this (its a Kroger subsidiary)
Third world has come to the U.S.
The first of many food riots. Wait until people are starving.
That was my first take on it...
I would say the more melanin in any given ‘hood the more common this will be. I live in a non diverse (I know, imagine how week we are) area and nothing like this exists.
It’s cheaper and easier to bake it yourself than it is to squabble over day-old goods. If you don’t know how, there are plenty of video outfits to show you.
Spend your weekends or days off and bake your brains out. Sdrop it all into the freezer and it’s ready and available for the next week or two.
Why is that so difficult?
Well, this is in the UK, so it’s pretty diverse…
That looks like the crowd at Sam’s waiting for the rotisserie chickens to be put out. They’re a mean group.
Where are the Cabbage Patch Dolls?
Talk about riots! Those were the days....
