I'd rather die from eating something I like than something I don't like.

Let Bill Gates eat it. I’ll stick with farm-grown meat.

This 70 something eats unprocessed meat every day.
My doc told me that most of his patients would "kill" for my excellent bloodwork results.
Reduce carbs, eat veggies and fresh meat. Reduce grains (breads, tortillas, cereals and especially corn and wheat). Skip sugar(s) and sugar substitutes.
Stay away from bad oils (the ones in chips for examples).
Easy breezy.

Sorry, take it easy on the preserved meats.
(Hate to say it, as I do love bacon and ham.)

It’s more than that, they know that people (especially men) have more normal hormonal levels and are probably more dangerous and far less easy to control

You have at least a decade on me but can say without any qualifiers that when I was on strict primal/paleo in my 40’s I was in the best health and physical condition of my life and I was an excellent athlete in my youth
Not nearly as strict about my diet these days but I keep grains, sugar, processed crap and alcohol to a minimum and my doc continues to be amazed at how good my blood work always is and the amount of strength I still have while being reasonably lean
You are obviously doing the right things

Too late - meat is in the process of being ELIMINATED due to its effect on Global Warming. As the price rises 10-fold for ‘unknown reasons’, you now know why.

Humans are carnivores. We were meant to eat meat. We are also at the top of the food chain, despite what some on the Left says. If we want to eat any animal at all, we have the ability to hunt it, dress it, butcher it, cook it, and eat it.
It is unnatural for a human to have a vegetarian diet. Though certainly vegetables go well with meat as a side dish.
The healthiest meats of course are the unprocessed meats taken straight from the animal. The more processed the meat, the less healthy it is. Spam, hot dogs, sausage, deli meats, not the best options but they are still delicious.

Liberals say red meat is bad. Translation: red meat is good.
Liberals say meat fat is bad. Translation: meat fat is brain food.

Time to go to the store and get pumpernickel, brown mustard and a big chunk of braunschweiger.

When I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer, three different oncologists told me to cut out almost all red meat and eat primarily a vegetarian diet.
Told them I’d rather die a happy man. I think dietary restrictions for many, NOT ALL, is bullshit.
Thing is, my response to low level treatment has been so good, my oncologist told me my cancecmay never progress.

Good bacon is never processed.
It is aged, smoked and maybe peppered. Then, it is sliced and refriged or frozen until its time has come.
