sorry....burns are painful....remembering back to my ironing days...
I remember burning my wrist on the exhaust manifold of a lawnmower while refilling the gas tank. That hurt like hell, and the area turned white, but with this being the 1980s, rather than the snowflaky 2020s, I simply got my seventeen-year-old self back to work after about 10 or 15 minutes and finished the lawn.
