Buccees Only in Texas!?!
.
You know The Word.
YELP love a Buc-ee’s! Plenty of notice on the highway that it’s coming so you can get ready to stop! The entrance is wide and parking lot plentiful. Gas pumps aplenty. But where else can you find corn feed for deer and 30 types of fudge?
I’ll tell you—Buc-ee’s.
The bathroom is very clean with many stalls to handle crowds. The grill is efficient handling orders placed on screens a few feet away.
Soda fountain wall is incredible. You’ve got to see it. It’s the only place I’ve seen people bumping into each other.
There’s a lot of fresh food available—sandwiches, fruit cups, yogurt parfaits. But whole chickens too.
There are lots of Buc-ee brand products from food to drinks to clothes. Yes clothes!
All in all, this location is a great Buc-ee’s.
They just opened the third one in Alabama and are building a fourth one. The one in Baldwin county (south Alabama on the Gulf) was the first one built outside of Texas. We have land down there and I was amazed when I saw it the first time. I knew it had to have come from Texas.
Most Buccee’s are in Texas, and there are none north of the Ohio River or west of the Rio Grande. You must also go to the Friendly State if you want to eat at Taco CabaƱa, Whataburger or Luby’s.
