Outdoors/Rural/wildlife/hunting/hiking/backpacking/National Parks/animals list please FR mail me to be on or off . And ping me is you see articles of interest.
Need new signs. New trail maps and guides. Still a nice place, I doubt anyone will know the difference. Many National Parks were built after evicting the residents. Shenandoah and Smokey Mountain among the larger.

There was and is nothing offensive about the previous name.
I suspect the Indians what something more, such as a title deed.
To: EEGator
When will AAA change the name of their “Indian Country” map, or have they already done so?
To: SJackson
What was it previously called?

“Many National Parks were built after evicting the residents.”
On Cape Cod, white homeowners were given so much time to pack up to make way for a park.
To: SJackson
By the 1920s, thousands of acres of Cape Cod were given up rather than pay taxes.
To: SJackson
So now the very word "Indian" is racially offensive?
Polaris will have to change the name of their Motorcycle division.

Probably doing it as we speak.
Pretty soon, Indians will be taught with Neanderthals as some relic of the past.
Most mascots named after Indians are/were because they were tough.
I’d be pissed if I was Indian.

Of the prior tribe is extinct, why does a competing tribe now get to claim any involvement?

It is only offensive in the minds of White women named “Karen”.

They can keep the name. Just put a red dot above the headlight.

Shenandoah and Smokey Mountain among the larger. Some people call it "conservation". Other people call it "Ethnic Cleansing".

“its racially offensive name”
Offensive to rich white liberals, that is. It’s not offensive to actual indians in Arizona as far as I ever noticed.
