Haven't seen whether he was arriving or departing. Either way, I'm sure there are probably trees that tall in the area and the tower appears to be in the middle of a heavily populated neighborhood. 100ft? I suspect the plane was not functioning as designed (as it were)
Maybe he wasn’t paying attention to the altimeter and his head was looking out of the cockpit too much? Hmm.....
