He's not rooting for the Russians.

Ukraine cannot win this war. It's a 'fantasy.'

“That’s because the US has been inciting mischief in these surrounding countries in those decades in an attempt to completely surround Russia and threaten their security.”

Huh?!?! The US incited mischief in Chechnya, Georgia, Moldova, etc? Where’s your evidence for that assertion?

If you are that interested feel free to google that information yourself, realizing that information will likely come from alternative sources that haven’t bowed to deep state censorship. We are currently involved in 14 violent insurrections across the globe in places like Africa and South America, but you won’t hear about that from the NYT or WashPost. You seem rather naïve as to how the world actually works.

You are absolutely correct.

And more, as you said, are taking place right now.

The naivete of some here is appalling.

I believe what I heard was that the NORKS were sending 100K laborers to work in Russia. On the other hand I seem to recall reading that 100 soldiers from CAR (presumably Central African Republic) had been abandoned in eastern Ukraine by Russian army or Wagner.

Well, I think that’s rather unlikely. But even if it were so, mercenaries or troops being ordered by their government to go fight somewhere halfway around the world aren’t quite the same as volunteers.
———
I have experience in this working for the US DOS. Besides the Ex Blackwater, Dyncorp companies , etc hiring “ contractors”, DOS uses well qualified individuals “ contracted” and active three letter agencies personnel (yes even DOD) who volunteer for black and gray Ops.

…in my case, I was informed if I was captured, I would be reported as a “ tourist”. If we play these games, the EU and especially Poland who are not bound by any Congressional “ rules”, are also doing it.

The one take away from my service, our .gov is dirty, secretive, and corrupted…

I decided to go to the source for this post, the interview with and the Judge. I then looked at at least 100 comments. I was astonished to see that while there were over 1200 thumbs up (like) votes in the first 6 comments, there was not a singl thumbs down (dislike) vote. Then as I looked at all the other comments, there never was a vote for thumbs down at all. So obviously this is a managed site that does not allow any negative commentary. This is the second pro Russia blog or discussion site where not a single negative commentary appeared although there were many pro votes on numerous comments.

Here is one comment I copied from the site that I thought made particularly interesting observations about the lessons learned from this war:

Great interview again Judge. Love how you always have a clear question for which you get a clear answer. As far as your question regarding whether this war has actually strengthened Russia it is a fascinating one. I feel that the US and Europe chose the wrong field of battle for this kind of confrontation with Russia. Ukraine is right on Russia’s border so logistically it isn’t difficult for Russia, especially on the East side of the Dneiper River. Ukraine isn’t worth giving Russia all this knowledge about how they need to modernize their army for future wars with NATO. I imagine Russia will literally have millions of small and cheap drones that can’t be shot down by conventional air defense and need to be shot down with bullets within 10 years. They will be able to effectively attack foreign targets and destroy infrastructure without putting troops at risk. This is going to nullify the air advantage the West has had through the US spending billions and billions of dollars. All the military might that money bought is going to be matched by things that cost just a fraction of the cost. I’ts going to become a much more even playing field in the future.

MY thought is what is to stop the West from adopting a lot more cheap drones and saving money on big bad mortars unless they determine that Russia is also bulking up on big arms as well as drones?

Typo in #30. Should read “interview with Ritter and the Judge” in line one.

Yeah these drones are something else, even less tech savvy countries like Iran have developed cheap drones able to avoid the usual protections and that have proven to be very effective.

Well if you actually believe Putin is trying to resurrect the old Soviet Union, you are a nutjob.

So why did Putin invade Ukraine?

You left out all of the places that Russia supplied with arms or started revolutions in, or otherwise caused the fighting.

Let's see. What about Cuba, Guatemala, Korea, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, El Salvador, and Nicaragua?

So you have a crush on Scott Ritter? He’s a notoriously unreliable source, and he seems to like his women very young, like when they are in 9th grade.

It’s a long story but the short answer is that the US intentionally provoked Russia into this for a variety of geopolitical reasons, the opening of nordstream 2 being one of the main ones.

The comment guy is another fantasizing Russian (of which there is no shortage when it comes to things military) who has no concept of what he is talking about - just another propagandist.
