I generally like these shockumentaries. But this one was a bit problematic for me. Mr. Hancock makes some interesting points, but I don’t think really proves anything. The issue is the word “Advanced” We think advanced means space travel. He is using the word “Advanced” to mean making fire and discovering the wheel. The civilization he proposes had the wheel, sails, fire and possibly writing.
I was underwhelmed.
Davinci and Angelo weren’t exactly working on stuff anyone accepted, and in thier time , were academic exiles. The artifacts that exist so far today support an overall different theory other than the one acedemically taught today. Learned a lot about Darwin and the ridiculousness of those theories in Galapagos when I saw it myself with some naturalists who won’t publish thier work because of that very threat.
