Coyotes, Bruins Fans Have All-Out Brawl in Wild Video

During a game between the Arizona Coyotes and Boston Bruins on Saturday, the fans took it upon themselves to engage in an all-out brawl to the tune of “Howlin’ for You” by The Black Keys blasting throughout Mullett Arena in Tempe.

The slobber knocker included a Coyotes fan slapping a drink toward an oncoming Bruins fan just five seconds in. Unfortunately, the same Coyotes fan seemed to punch and daze a woman in a Rob Gronkowski T-shirt, who luckily got up quickly after.

SNIP

According to a report from KTAR News, one person was arrested for aggravated assault as a result of the incident. The same report indicates that five others were cited for disorderly conduct. No names tied to the encounter have yet been released.

I went to a hockey game and a fight broke out... in the stands.

I thought the players were supposed to be punching each other in a hockey game, not the fans.

I live in Phoenix. This area is filled with transplants like me who kept our lifelong allegiances to teams in other parts of the country.

Boston has a strong fan base. The Coyotes do not. It makes sense that a team like the Bruins (or Flyers or Rangers) would create an opportunity for a fight in the stands to break out (Canadiens and Maple Leafs fans are too decent, though they are ardent as well).

The Coyotes are a cipher in Tempe/Phoenix. The Bruins are NOT a cipher in Boston (despite having the Red Sox and Celtics).

You could hear the white knights squeal, “Ohhhhhh!! Oh MY GOD!” when that girl pounding away got punched in the face.

"The fans are standing up to them. The security guards are standing up to them. The peanut vendors are standing up to them. And by golly, if I could be down there, I'd be standing up to them."

63 wins, most ever in an NHL regular season.

Still say, they won’t win the Cup.

More often than not, a team with an outstanding regular season gets knocked out in the playoffs. Happened with the Patriots “perfect season” in 2007.

Reminds me of the old Cleveland Browns - Pittsburgh Steelers games at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Epic action on the field and in the stands!
