Not such a great story. It attempts to minimize the theft which started the fracas, even though the three students involved plead guilty.
It appears to me it attempt to paint Oberlin college as the "victim".

Along with their saying that it was basically not financially harmful to the college as they had plenty of insurance.... which means everyone’s insurance costs go up because this college is stupid.

Of course, the media will paint Oberlin as a victim, that’s all they know. They will never report the egregious and illegal behavior of the psychopath Dean at the root of the malfeasance.

And no mention of the student thief, a recent grad of a $$$ prep school... Changed his name and now works for Oberlin.
