Anderson, of Ocean Springs, is accused of opening fire while sitting with her 10-year-old daughter in her SUV outside Motel 6 in Bay St. Louis after police called child protective services at 4:30 a.m. Thursday,
Anderson — who had no criminal history and was reportedly well-liked in the community — had spent 30 minutes speaking to Sgt. Steven Robin, 34, and officer Branden Estorffe, 23, before flipping out and gunning them down, according to Bay St. Louis police.
Police said they believe the troubled mother fatally shot herself — but one of the officers also fired a shot, so an autopsy will determine the cause of death, wtok.com reported.
Anderson’s daughter, whose name has not been released, was not injured.

The story is odd. Why was she at a motel with her 10 year old at 0430?
Where were her other kids?
Why did the police call CPS? (or whatever child services is there)

But I do think that some people might feel that they have a choice — lose their child to CPS and get consumed by “The System” that will not treat them fairly, or else strike first at “The System” to send a message. Gonna lose the child anyway, right?

This is the same town where the boy that goes to a nearby Christian school was shot by police at 7:30am after a call about a burglary.
Reported at FR but a quick search didn’t find it. Kid was an honor student, no history, etc. No details on the shooting.
