My point wasn’t that outdoor masks are “debatable” (actually, they are useless except in very rare circumstances not found on Falling Waters Trail in late December) but rather that they are #100 on any proper list of considerations for winter hiking in the White Mountains.

I would have to agree, all that covid protection crap, and nothing about wearing appropriate clothing for hiking in the season, carrying proper supplies (matches & firestarter, compass/gps, extra clothing to provide more layering.
