The Nazis were racists and anti-Semites, while the EU imports Third World migrants, and censors anything smacking of racism, anti-semitism, Holocaust denial, homophobia, or Islamophobia (real or imagined).
So I wouldn't say the EU was Nazi. Germany (and much of Europe) essentially went from one anti-liberty extreme to the other.
The whole point of flooding Europe with migrants was to make sure Europe would no longer be white, so a Hitler could not rise again.
But in the end, the end result may very well be a new Ottoman Empire.
True. It has nothing to do with love of diversity or human rights. That's just propaganda for the masses.
I doubt the spooks fully informed the elected representatives of the time, either. Maybe Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd were old enough to have been in office at the time, but they’re dead now. “Nations are not like men. They can begin anew every generation.” I think that’s de Tocqueville. But I’ve never seen it. WE, having taken no part in that perfidy, or slavery and Jim Crow, or the annihilation of the Delaware, the Susquehanno, or the Osage tribes, have the freedom to redefine and rebuild America as it was meant to be. Not with remedial injustice or slandering the founders, but by just starting anew.
First thing is, get rid of the intelligence community’s culture, that would tolerate Nazis as assets and incorporate them into their “community” and believes that the ends justify the means. If that means demolishing the old intelligence edifice and starting over, so be it.
To bring this article up to date just change Nazi’s to Communists.
Doesn’t matter. It’s WE. If you’re not willing to take on the sins of your elected government I recommend moving to a dictatorship. They’re the only people who get to say THEY. For us it’s WE. WE did Operation Paperclip. WE broke most of the treaties we ever signed. WE have a sleazy untrustworthy government that has been corrupt at every level basically since day 1.
One of the main spies we had on the payroll running operations in Eastern Europe was General Gehard Gehlen who was in Intelligence for the Germans , I think on the Eastern Front, during W.W. II. He was quickly recruited to make use of his spy network in Eastern Europe.

Free Republic is over run with them. There are so many that they have to work in shifts. What makes it even worse is that they married with the worshipers of George Soros and Lying Joe Biden and they now have a united front.

We picked “better” Germans. Just ask them.
According to your definition, we have all the guilt, but no agency to alter that which was done before we were born or when we were infants. “We” cannot work like that. We have a legacy from prior generations, and that legacy is both good and bad, and we have power agency over the present, not to repeat the mistakes of the past generations, and to commit to continuing that which they got right.
Look at reality. The Dems keep harping on the past, slavery, Jim Crow, etc. the Nationalists in South Africa kept harping on the British concentration camps during the Boer War and Dingaan’s murder of Piet Retief. The Dems want a dictatorship. The Nationalists instituted Apartheid, including laws against stirring up racial resentments with speech, which was very loosely defined. It’s the dictators who want to obsess on the past.
The past is there to be learned from. But we don’t dare live in it. Operation Paperclip was as abhorrent as altering viruses to make them more deadly or contagious. So the thing to do is give all the senior agents make-work until they get a pension, and completely rebuild the agencies from the ground up while they’re doing intelligence gathering in sub-Saharan Africa, or finding out what those Bedouins are up to in the Sinai Desert and Libya.

You can’t fix the present if you’re not willing to own the past. I wasn’t alive when Paperclip happened. Neither were my parents. That was my grandparents’ version of the American government. But if I’m not willing to admit I inherited a screwed up government I can’t fix it. I mean I probably still can’t cause I keep getting out voted. But I can try.
I AM looking at reality. Reality is the American government is corrupt. Has been for a very long time. Reality is that as long as you keep thinking in terms of political parties and us and them you ain’t fixing it.
You can’t learn from the past if you deny it. OUR duly elected representatives put the people in place that made the decisions that let Paperclip happen. That’s WE. Like Joseph De Maistre said “In a democracy, the people end up with the government and leaders they deserve”. So what are you doing to deserve better?
And of what does “owning” the past consist? Do we put on hair shirts? Roll in the snow in our birthday suits? The government IS screwed up. The culture that made Paperclip and has evolved for the worse as a result of Paperclip is alive and kicking, and has gotten worse. Now they’re stealing elections, demonizing their opponents, censoring social media, and screwing everyone over more ways than can be listed. They must be stopped.
I am in Israel. Can’t even come back to America at this time, for what good that would do. Don’t even have a passport anymore. My only power is in my words, which can cross the oceans in one moment, and hopefully motivate somebody to do something better than giving up. I can also still vote absentee in Savannah, but that’s neither here nor there.
But words have great power. G-d started creation by ordering light to exist. We are made in His image, so can change the world with our words, too. So I keep plugging away.
Well step 1 would be not getting pissy because somebody said “we” to describe activities by the American government.
Step 2, stop buying into the party BS. Both parties are corrupt. Neither party believes in anything. Neither party has any interest in fixing anything.
Problem is you words are denial. If you won’t admit it’s WE then you’ve taken away all your own power.
