Renton, WA – A journalist covering a “drag queen story hour” event at a local dog- and kid-friendly pub was allegedly attacked and had her cellphone stolen by Antifa militants who were acting as security for the event.
The incident occurred at the Brewmaster’s Taproom on Dec. 10, The Post Millennial reported.
A group of people was protesting the event over concerns that it is inappropriate for drag queens, biological males who dress as women and generally perform highly-sexualized burlesque-style shows, to be hosting an event for children.
A mob of about 100 Antifa militants showed up armed with umbrellas and waving transgender flags, Rebel News reported.
The Antifa group appeared to be acting as security for the event, according to the news outlet.
Rebel News reporter Katie Daviscourt told KTTH she was filming a report and B-roll of the scene outside the taproom when she was suddenly swarmed by the mob.

“And that’s when an Antifa militant came up from behind me, grabbed my arm, threw my phone to the ground, and then grabbed my phone and ran away with it,” she said.
Daviscourt said she found a KING reporter nearby and that she asked him for help so she could call police, but he refused.
“He said, ‘that’s not me. You got to figure it out yourself,’” Daviscourt told KTTH. “After he denied me, I just felt so helpless in that moment. He wouldn’t let me use his phone, mocked me, and just denied me complete basic human decency at that point. I don’t live in Renton. I don’t know the area. I was left without a phone. I was in an extremely vulnerable position.”

Antifa was attacking and stealing from a reporter who was reporting on drag queens grooming children.
That was a low thing for the King reporter to do, refusing to help her after she was robbed.
Meanwhile, besides the immorality, that event seems like a very dangerous place to bring a child. Over 100 Antifa “acting as security”?
It is strange, looking at some of the social causes many folks are devoted to today.
As I’ve said before,several have abandoned worship of God and replaced it with worship of their (real or imagined) genitalia.
I guess they brought umbrellas because it was going to be raining men......
The journo she asked to help is on an Antifa approved list of “reporters” they they know will turn their backs when Antifa misbehaves. If you re going to go in and report on something like this, you need numbers.
Another point: I have noticed that almost no phones these day have a place to attach a lanyard that might prevent your phone from being stolen. Bug, or feature?
Seems the real story here is the 'reporter', on assignment from Rebel News (Canadian news group), felt vulnerable without a phone.

I believe many on the left feel the same way about Trump. Lacking a time machine, the 2020-equivalent question was "would you steal the election by whatever means, to remove Trump from office? Because, ya know, he's Hitler."
I bet most Bidet supporters sure as heck see lots of problems and believe that the election was fraudulent, and it is very likely that Trump won by a mile. But, because Orange Man Bad, these Guardians of Civilization grip onto whatever half-baked rationale for the "legitimacy" of the results: 2020 was a de facto going back in time to kill Hitler for these folks. They are the Defenders of the Galaxy.
However, Trump is still alive AND popular. This means the left's fantasy of Killing Hitler needs to be sustained AND extended to anyone who doesn't share their distorted worldview.
That's why the KING reporter didn't help Daviscourt ...he was doing his time machine things and doing his part to "kill Hitler's followers."
Clarence Thomas got it right, when he wrote about the protests (threats?) from the Roe leak: "We are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don't like."

Umbrellas can be used as offensive tools, they can be used to hide identity, defense against thrown objects. There are even ‘unbreakable’ umbrellas made for these purposes.
I can not say what needs to be said about this situation.
The well outfitted ones (AR-15, pistol and body armor) are likely Federal law enforcement and possibly state law enforcement. And local law enforcement knows that they are there.
While it may be true that we haven’t perfected time travel; what if they did in the future and this is the best current timeline they could come up with for us?

The KING reporter works for Antifa. He knows that if he helped, he would get beat up himself, and would get the same treatment or worse if he tried to cover them in the future.
Then it goes to show that brilliance in physics doesn’t translate into brilliance elsewhere.
But I agree that many MSM "journalists" are engaging in cognitive dissonance to "kill Hitler's followers."
