An incredible amount of commentary on the human condition is in either the Old or New Testament. They use poetic, dignified, 19th Century language, but name a problem and it’s in The Book!

Quite amazing. But then what did
Ecclesiates 1:9 NIV say:
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun!”

America was a Christian nation until the late sixties when secular humanism became our god. My generation even had a hit song to that effect: "It's your thing" ("do what you want to do").

The hippies discarded traditional mores and lived like pigs. They were the tip of the spear for our cultural/sexual revolution.

Two thousand years before that, Paul warned of worshipping the creature (in the passage I quoted).

You're 100% correct, viz. the Bible has the answers for every problem we will ever confront.

But Satan has convinced modern man the Bible is flawed, obsolete, archaic .......

That reminds me of another passage apropos to the discussion: Jeremiah 10:23: O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
