Same way you know the "high point" has been reached.
The answer is you don't.
You buy when it dips and sell when it goes up.
Been doing this for years. I generally miss the lowest point and the highest point but I sell for more then I bought so I come out ok.
The key is not to be greedy.

But how do you know when the low Point has been reached? That's the point at which you happen to have no further liquid funds to invest - i.e., you're all tapped out!
