Cool! He hired a woman from Colorado to do all the paint artistry. “…the artist included tiny details, like miniature cops and robbers on the fender and tiny donuts in random places throughout the paint job.”
LOL. Nice humor!
Dood Jaussaud? I assume he’s a muslim invader, or son of them.
“It took three months of solid work – all paid for out-of-pocket – to transform the classic Chevy into the showpiece it is now”
Hard to believe unless he was loaded and had three guys working 24/7 to accomplish this at incredible cost.
Somehow, that just doesn't look like 1950s graphics "restored".
I doubt they use Cragar style rims in the 50s either considering they weren't designed and produced until the 60s. No radial tires in the 60s either.
Cool looking cop car but hardly "restored". Probably has a stereo with mp3 port too.
It was a hot number - 0-60 in a heartbeat and would pass anything but a gas pump.
Back when cars were cars and life was good.
When I was growing up, the cops in my town had 57 Chebby Bel-Airs — with “gumball” machine lights.
White hardtops, over dark green, with white doors — much like the article. No fancy-dan artwork, though.
Bitchin’ slick-lookin’ cop cars, though.. VERY classy.
(It was a classy suburb.)
Cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks and it’s a model made before catalytic converters so it’ll run good on regular gas...
