To: Still Thinking

I didn’t say I “liked” Win 11 Pro, I simply said the transition to it from Win 10 Pro was relatively easy for me. And at least it’s not the Win 7 to Win 8 disaster.

11 does seem to be a memory hog just to run the OS. How it is about memory leaks and huge accumulations of un-necessary log files and such, I shall see, I guess. Win 7, which I mostly am ok with and am working from right now, is pretty bad about such things.

“Mostly”. In SOME ways I still prefer XP... :-)

The 22H2 update seems to have improved it even more, but if you are running Ryzen, be careful re. the KB5021255 update.
