I have taken to Luck's pinto beans with onion, smashed up some and a little water and some salt added. I literally have soup beans. One can makes two lunches frequently served with Martha White's sweet yellow cornbread packaged mix. I keep many cans on hand.
Yesterday I asked my wife to see if they have Luck's or White (navy ) beans. Growing up they were my favorite. Beans are high in protein and I need the hight protein
