The only thing we need to know... Will it hit us?
If not, then it’s all good. If it is going to hit us... Just keep it to yourselfs.
I was thinking the same sort of thing because of this little clue:
“C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is a long-period comet believed to come from the Oort Cloud, the most distant region of Earth’s solar system and consisting of icy chunks of space debris. The comet was discovered a year ago, and scientists have been studying it since.
We don’t have an estimate for the furthest it will get from the Earth yet — estimates vary — but if it does return it won’t be for at least 50,000 years,” [Jessica Lee, an astronomer with the Royal Observatory”
Could this be the very first solar visit since being jostled loose from the Oort Cloud? In fact, technically, Ms Lee only talked about if it returns in 50k yrs, not that it was here 50k yrs ago...
That would seem to also fit with the 50k yr visit interval calculations...
If you take the trouble to learn a little bit about orbital mechanics, you'll answer your own question.
“often viewed as Bad Omens “.... 2023 begins. Yeah, wouldn’t surprise me at all. We already have a cosmic clown show running the country.
WTF...Editor...Editor!!!
I may be interested. Does the green shag carpet and 8 track come with it?
The orbit is just physics.
The last time it was here, Neanderthals were on earth.
Neanderthals had eyes and could see the stars at night.
Therefore, the last time it was here, Neanderthals looked at the sky, at night, and saw it.

Yet, by their calculations, they state that the moon is moving away from the earth. Using their own calculations the moon is currently moving 3.8 cm away from the Earth every year.
Calculating how old they claim the earth is, 4.5 Billion years, earths gravitation would have been too strong for the moon to get where it is today.
Stated differently, the moon should have been pulled into earth and crashed against at a minimum of 2.25 billion years ago, thus we would be a dead planet long before we could have reached the age of 4.5 billion years.
Taking those calculations into consideration, the earth would never have been able to evolve to where it is due to the extreme gravitational flux between earth and the moon.
Earth needed to have the moon exactly where it is, or close, long before just so the tides would be able to properly create the atmosphere earth needed to crate life.
One cannot take just a part of their calculations and ignore the rest. Either they are right on them or they are wrong.
Hey, I used their calculations, not mine.
Thus Everything was created by GOD, and thus the comment could not even exist until God created it.
Off to meet hale-bopp comet or was it the spaceship following it. I have this sudden edge to buy a track suit and some air Jordan’s. Somehow I also have my eyes on this cool purple blanket. Got to run, the koolaid is ready.
They still are around.
“ set to pass by Earth for the first time since Neanderthals existed 50,000 years ago.”
I’m pretty sure Neanderthals are still among us. Have you seen the freaks in charge of DC?
And to think I opened a fresh can of AJAX yoost yesterday
I just turned 74 years old...I’m too old to care about some comet...I really don’t give damn about orbital mechanics...I really don’t care if the comet came by 50 or 50,000 years ago...
