ODU overcomes scary scene involving teammate in win at Georgia State
STATESBORO, GA (WAVY) – Members of the Old Dominion men’s basketball team watched in shock, and many held back tears, as their teammate Imo Essien had to be tended to by training staff from both ODU and Georgia Southern on Saturday.
Essien, a sophomore guard, appeared to become weak, then collapsed during play in the first half of the contest.
After a few tense moments, Essien, who did not appear to lose consciousness, was helped to his feet and walked off the court with the help of the trainers. “He was responsive throughout and was able to sit with team for the duration of the game and travel back with the team,” read a statement from ODU.
“He is in good spirits and will work with the ODU Sports Medicine staff when they return to Norfolk.”

Here's a radical idea. Give the guy a echocardiogram and see if he has Myocarditis. If he does, then find out his vaccination status.

One of my main criticisms (and in my teaching and speaking career I have had many) of the vaccine program has been dismissal of the death claims/concerns by the people and agencies which have the information.
I've had 3 doses of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine and I am content with the outcome. I've been exposed to COVID patients probably 90% of days since 1/23/20, so I'm not suggesting you or anyone else should do something other than what you have chosen to do - just what worked for me.

Doesn’t mean crap. Hoe many died of heart attack? That includes the time before “spearing” became illegal and was a major cause of paralysis and death. Also, not corrected for deaths due to lack of hydration during practice, again a huge cause of collapse.
Let us see the number of incapcitions and DEATHS during competitions for the last 2 years.

Seems to me the CDC should highlighting such a comparison. That's what real scientists would do.
23 years is a lot different than the time frame we’re seeing deaths or sudden collapse of people cropping up now...young or old.

Don’t get too excited, I still believe there are a lot of vaccine injuries and deaths. But I have no proof, just suspicions in some cases, like a couple of dead relatives.

Dehydration was my first thought, too. Pretty typical.
