I live a 10-hour round trip from the nearest grocery store. Here's what buying groceries is like for me.

The internet would be alot safer if a webpage could only pull data and scripts from the host site. Get rid of all this cross access and safety will improve massively.
Of course, the googles and facebooks, wont permit that !!

We could self police that and force an industry standard change. If everyone just installed NoScript... And were not too lazy to use it.

They would catch on fairly quickly that their “hidden script” jig is up.

But to use it takes a couple extra mouse clicks. We are way too lazy to make even one more mouse click than we have to.

I loved driving the Alcan!

Liard Hot Springs, Whitehorse, Watson Lake, Pink Mountain, so many wonderful spots. It was mostly mud and gravel when I drove it in the ‘70’s.

I moved to Anchorage, the Seward, then Moose Pass. I loved Alaska!

“Did you become a priest?”

LOL! Not a priest. Baptist seminary.

I loved Alaska, too. Was there from ‘71 to ‘90. Maybe we were in Anchorage at the same time.

I HATED the Alcon! Divorce began there. Munchi Lake was creepy. The trusty Milepost Magazine. I liked Whitehorse — 7 miles of pavement — a respite from hundreds of miles of mud and gravel.

Muncho Lake. Not Munchi.

Oh, that’s too bad. I’m sorry about your divorce.

I liked Anchorage. They used to say “The nice thing about living in Anchorage is you’re only an hour away from Alaska!”

“I liked Anchorage.”

Me, too. My ~20 years there were the best and most fun time of my life. I never should’ve left. Brain farts = bad decisions.
