Psychologically, voters choose a non threatening choice over a risky choice that promises new success. Who appears safest generally wins. Trump was the less risky choice in 2016 as everyone knew Clinton is evil.

Trump is no longer viewed as non risky.

Trump won in 2016 because millions of independent, moderate, and swing voters held their noses and voted for him because they loathed Hillary even more.

I think the only chance Trump has at winning in 2024 is if the Democrats are dumb enough to put Kamala Harris on the top of the ticket. We'd see a repeat of 2016.

Other than this, Trump has no path to the White House in 2024.

Is his risk bigger than Xiden? If so, let me in on it.

Recommend watching Judge Judy for about 10 episodes, and you’ll have a good idea who the average voter is in this country, whether or not they personally fill out their own ballot. Bet many of them respond to the poll.

Your assesment is debatable, but even assuming it’s true, NBC along with other MSM outlets were “polling” a landslide for Clinton in 2016. With that in mind, why would you give credence to the conclusions of an NBC poll?
