I love my kirby
My next door neighbor tried selling those rainbow vacs. She came to my house to do a demo. I let her in and went to work.
When I got home my carpets looked like brand new. I was shocked.
Did you buy one from her?
So... about 10 vacuums.
I was pricing one of those Dyson stick vacuums just the other day because I need a little bit of portability with power... but those things are like $500+
“My Dyson is still going strong after 12 years of daily use.”
I got one of those Dyson Animal uprights with all the attachments. It’s a great vacuum but it’s a little awkward on stairs even with the hose. I like it a lot.
It’s the culture.
Hubby bought one for Christmas directly from Dyson (yes, right around $500), and it is very handy. I love it. We have mostly wood floors with some carpeted areas. It’s been great and much lighter than dragging around a bigger vacuum, so we are cleaning more frequently. No need for a plug either, and that’s been great, too. It’s been great on the cat fur.
We got a V10 Absolute and it’s very nice on the carpeted stairs. I normally don’t like to spend that kind of money on anything, but I think it’s been worth every penny this time. Granted, we’ve only had it for a month, but we use it nearly daily. It makes quick pick ups very easy to do.
Can someone explain the Florida man meme to me? How it started, why it’s funny?
Or at least it seems like a meme…
Or at least it seems like a meme…
Thanks - I thought it was just a FR thing, otherwise I would have googled it.
What model number?
And, does its brush and hose adapter work adequately?
I’m looking to get a portable vacuum.
It’s the V10 Absolute. So far we are enjoying using all of the components. I have only used the hose portion once and it was fine. There are several brush adaptors for different uses, and so far we like them all. The caddy for the different pieces was an add-on for free when we got this one, and it’s very much worth having, even if I had to pay for it. It keeps everything together and makes it easy to switch out components. If you’re looking for a good stick vacuum that works on pet hair, this is a great one. We ordered directly from dyson.com and it was here in just a couple of days. The caddy arrived separately about a week or so later.
Good to know. We have a floot-and-carpet plug in that is no better than adequate, but is terrible when you try to use the brush (which is terrible) or the hose and wand (which are short and clutzy).
A hand held portable with a good brush or brush and hose sounds a real improvement.
