Bed, Bath & Beyond is reportedly facing bankruptcy and this week began another round of layoffs. Apparently ‘security’ was part of those layoffs as a Florida Man apparently walked into the store on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers and casually walked off without paying. The take? $5500.00 in Dyson vacuums. He left the plaza in a dark blue SUV.
Dyson vacuums can run upwards of $750. If you see someone selling one on facebook marketplace “still in box”, be on alert. Buying stolen merchandise is illegal and under Florida law, they can try to charge you.

The man could have made much more by buying Bed Bath and Beyond stock. The stock under ticker symbol BBBY has gone from $1.31 just last week to a closing price of $5.24 today. The ‘meme stock’ craze made famous back in 2021 seems poised to make a comeback. Bed, Bath, & Beyond could take notes on how Estero, Florida based Hertz handled the meme status as it too faced almost certain doom until it was saved by the Reddit crowd.

I love my swivel head Shark upright. Its lightweight and I can easily clean the ceiling from my wheelchair.

I stand by my Kirby. My wife bought a Shark Rocket and after using it on a carpet, I had to go over the carpet again with the Kirby. The Kirby has forward and reverse drive.
I’m surprised he found one of their stores still open.
No kidding!! I tried to find a couple of bathroom rugs on their website, and ended up having to order from Amazon. What they had was crap. The store here closed not too long ago.

My Dyson is still going strong after 12 years of daily use. Not a single plastic part on it has worn or cracked. Super easy to clean too.
If it ever breaks, I'll buy another one.
