Can someone actually die from blood loss resulting from a foor injury like that? Was that the cause of death or something else?

Can someone actually die from blood loss resulting from a foor injury like that? I think you can die from just about anything.

A heavy, sharp, cleaver falling down a leg could certainly open up an artery in a serious sort of way. But slaughter houses are full of sharp things and every now and then someone is going to get nicked. What strikes me as odd is that they didn’t seem to have any first aid, tourniquet, kind of gear to at least tie off the poor bugger’s leg? He shouldn’t have had to bleed to death? That’s the pig’s job.

If he sliced a major artery, yes, he could bleed out.

Can someone actually die from blood loss resulting from a foor injury like that? Maybe when he fell he was knocked out and then bled out.
