I was in Esfahan, Iran during that time. Protest would just spring up out of nowhere. It was an interesting and dangerous time to say the least. Before I left Iran, a few people that I had worked with were executed by the Revolutionary Forces.

The family of the surgeon who undeviated my septum was from Iran. He said his family got out just ahead of the real craziness. He was born here. Said some of his family that remained didn’t duck low enough and ended up being executed. Probably plenty of families with that story.
