Those guys get paid a lot of money and often don’t have meaningful secondary incomes or skills so they can’t afford to go off script.

While the Left is VERY motivated to rig elections, why would the $ Zillion cash cow NFL, teams, and players jeopardize their goose laying these golden eggs by cheating and “scripting”? Doesn’t make sense.

More of a question of why. I heard just a couple of weeks ago that sports are considered entertainment therefore they can legally rig a game without repercussions. I’m sure gamblers are ticked off about it, but that’s the gist of the conversations I was hearing on media.

I would take this with a grain of salt. Arian was a talented RB, but he was coming up with some off the wall stuff even in college at Tennessee.

Today? If you're an NFL official, you get better jobs if you make the "right" calls. You get perks. So the favored teams and the stars get all the calls.
So there, you sort of have a script. Even though it's kind of indirect.
5 or 6 bad calls in a close game, there's no way that you can win the game. It's unlikely that your team is as dominant as the 1985 Bears so you can't just blow out your team in every game. Parity rules the game. So you can see how this is a problem.

Regardless, all these players gotta do is save a copy of the script and present it to the public. Until then, the reality of the situation can vary from dumb, or disgruntled jocks to carefully calculating, misanthropic owners, advertisers, other jocks, broadcasters, swindlers,gamblers, and media hacks.
Anything to keep the NFL in the public eye(to jack up the advertisement income). Sooper bowl not worth the time to watch.
