As I watch the movie, where did Julie Adams get her hair done in the deep Amazon?

To heck with the Creature. I'm tuning in for Julie Adams! Then you need to check out the two 'Swamp Thing' movies. One of them was with Adrian Barbuio, and the other with Heather Locklear.

Man this movie was the stuff of nightmares when I was growing up. I had the model of it too...along with Frankenstein and Dracula too.

“I saw that in the theater in 3D.”
Hey! Me too! Back around 1975 a theater in Costa Mesa had a special double-feature of “Creature” and It Came From Outer Space.” 3-D glasses and everything. A real treat.

We had to wear 3D glasses when we saw “Creature”—it was in a theater on the Sunset Strip. At the same theater, I also saw “Kiss Me, Kate” (1953) in 3D. That’s the best way to see it. When Kathryn Grayson concludes her aria “I Hate Men” by throwing a mug at the audience, you want to duck for cover. You don’t get that feeling when you see it in 2D.

I still have some of the monster models that I made as a kid. I had no concept of using flat paints so they are all garish and glossy. The bride of Frankenstein was laid out the best complete with laboratory retorts and spare body parts. The Phantom of the Opera was another great layout. I had all the classic ones except for the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
