Does anyone reload this somewhat rare caliber? Is it possible to use something such as the new creedmore 6.5mm for the cartridges and bullets, primers etc.???
It looks like I can buy most of the hardware on eBay…like the die etc.
Reason being I’ve recently bought a near pristine WW2 Japanese Ariska model 44 and it seems ammo is either impossible to find or expensive.

I think my dad reloads for the jap 6.5. I’ll ask him what components he uses.

Norma bullets are undersize compared to Japanese originals. The bullets used in Hornady ammo are still slightly undersize, but much closer to spec.
Do some looking online...this information has been published in the past. Somebody may have turned up an in-spec bullet by now.

Search the interwebz thing. Plenty of places selling both new and reclaimed brass, both primed and unprimed. A quick review showed Norma and PPU brass (both are good) at several places including Midway. Check your reloading manuals (you have those, right?) for appropriate bullets, powder, and load data.
It’s an oddball caliber, it won’t be “cheap”.

New dies available at Midway. Probably better to get new dies than used from eBay.
