Fur coats purportedly given to widows of soldiers fighting for Russia in Ukraine as compensation for their deaths were taken back after the women were filmed expressing their gratitude for them, it has been reported. If they have to use the word purportedly, how can anyone have any confidence that anything in the story has even a scintilla of truth to it.
