There are shuttle busses now that take passengers from Delta terminal 2 over to a new terminal west (I think) of the Tom Bradley International Terminal. The shuttles are on the same pavement as the planes, luggage trucks, etc. It was only a matter of time before a collision like this would occur.
Well that’s a viciously bad idea.

LAX is by far the worst airport I have ever been to. It is what you literally have nightmares about. We recently discovered that three hours was not enough time to make a connecting flight on the same airline from the International Terminal.
