Harrison Ford's profession is essentially to get all dressed up and play pretend. Why in hell would any sentiment being have the slightest interest in Harrison Ford's sophomoric theology?

See my recent reply concerning John Wayne:

Yes that was a good one. John Wayne was Americana as was Elvis whom the liberals also went through a period of criticizing.

Trivia, did you know J.W. Only married Hispanic women? He was asked why and he said it wasn’t the type just happened to marry them. A white lie I think. Yet who cares, Latin women can be incredibly beautiful.

By definition, an actor's job is to convincingly exist in an alternate reality. Nobody should be surprised that most successful actors have skewed or distorted perceptions of the real world, when their professional lives demands they exist outside of it.

Tennyson's poem, "The Lady of Shallot," is about this exact phenomenon. The gifted artist/author/actor is successful because they (are cursed to) interpret the real world from outside of it. If they choose to live in it, the loss of their unique perspective is fatal (at least to their craft).

I can't think of any professions that have people whose sentiments are of interest.

They've all gone to hell.

I suppose it’s human nature for a lot of folks to see those that have some notoriety as having some special insight or knowledge that little people don’t have. A LOT of people are wrong. Same with product endorsements. Some celebrity says use “xxx” and people buy the crap out of it. Insane!

On that thread, I posted about how John Wayne had a lifetime with horses and was a skilled rider, rancher, ex-cowboy stuntman, etc.
